My journey as a Life Coach began with the Arkansas Hard at Work Kids grassroots basketball program in 1997. It was here where I discovered the many challenges facing student-athletes across the country. I was given the opportunity to travel across the country and meet coaches, players and parents. Within our own program and networking with other parents and coaches who spoke openly with me about the challenges their student-athletes were facing. My strong desires and willingness to assist them with these challenges led to the decision to ‘jump’ into Life Coaching.
I took the ‘jump’ and opened the doors for Student-Athlete transformation with Sideline Choices in 2021. It is here, where strategies for the game of life are offered to student-athletes and their parents. It is here, where transformation for student-athletes begin. It is here, where communities will be changed as a result of transformed student-athletes. It is here, where we CHOOSE, BUILD, CREATE, INCORPORATE.

I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. After receiving my Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Philander Smith College, I moved to Atlanta, GA for (5) five years while pursuing a Masters in Social Work degree from Clark Atlanta University. For 20 years I held various Management level positions with the City of Little Rock and the City of Atlanta Parks and Recreation Departments all directly related with the youth and athletics. During my tenure in both departments, I served as Director of multiple community centers. As a Community Center Director, I introduced the Junior NBA/WNBA national program and presented partnerships with NBA and WNBA players for camps and speaking engagements.
Over 25 years, I spoke with student-athletes and their parents to help them achieve their goals, overcome obstacles, see a new perspective and make changes or shifts in their lives.
Quite simply...LIFE COACHING.
